With the continued support of both ADSC and Finance House, Al Forsan hopes that Top Archer

2015 will be the best yet!

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Archers will get the opportunity to dial in the target and

showcase their precision skills this November at Al Forsan, as it hosts the 2015 edition of the

popular Top Archer Competition. With registration now open, archers can enter the

competition for only AED 125, and will get the chance to channel their skill for a shot at

winning AED 7000, beginning on the 1st of November!

Held at the tried and tested Al Forsan Archery Ranges, female participants will compete on a

15m range, whilst male competitors will shoot it out on a 18m range! With accuracy being the

name of the game when it comes to this precision sport, archers will be able to test their mettle

against one another after 10 practice shots. They will then be given 10 competitive shots to

prove their ability! Archers will also be able to pay for a re-shoot for just AED 50.

In the Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) and Finance House sponsored competition, winners will

see themselves receive AED 7000 for first place, whilst the runners up will win AED 5000 and

third place will get AED 3000! All top three winners of the competition will also be given a

specially made trophy to mark their success. The competition itself will run from the 1st to the

31st of December, with the top 10 archers moving on into the final!

Aside from the competition, there are many opportunities for aspiring archers to practice their

precision! With an AC controlled indoor range, as well as a well-equipped outdoor range, Al

Forsan is a fantastic location for amateurs and practiced professionals alike. The modern archer

is a multi-faceted and multi-disciplined athlete, and this is duly noted in the range of bows

available at Al Forsan. Stocked with upgraded but traditional recurve bows as well as the more

modern and complex compound bows, this new and state of the art range will allow archers

the opportunity to perfect two different types of archery discipline at one venue.
