Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Sunday, September 20th 2015 – Pop Culture celebrities are set to

grace fans with their presence at Abu Dhabi’s first IGN Convention – a gathering of pop culture and

gaming enthusiasts. The IGN Convention aims to elevate the pop culture experience for gamers, comic

enthusiasts, cosplayers, movie buffs and all citizens of the UAE. The event takes place at du Forum on

Yas Island on 16th and 17th October (2pm – 10pm daily) and will be attended by a star-studded line up of

international celebrities.

The much awaited line-up for 2015 includes Game of Thrones star Jack Gleeson who fans will recognize

for portraying the character of Joffrey Baratheon on screen.

Fans will also get to mingle with voice over artists Adam Harrington, the voice of Bigby Wolf in the Wolf

Among Us video game, and Dave Fennoy, the voice of Lee Everett in The Walking Dead video game.

Italy’s most popular cosplayer, NadiaSK will also be in attendance and be part of the judging panel for

the region’s biggest Cosplay Contest. Cosplay fans put their skills to the test when they showcase their

outfits to the judging panel and compete for a total of $10,000 in cash. Interested participants can

Previously more than twenty thousand fans have collectively attended IGN Conventions in Bahrain,

Doha and Dubai. During the two days fans will be a part of several activities such as arcades, card and

table top games, free workshops, gaming tournaments, regional artist showcases, concerts with live

video game music, and much more.
