contemporary Slavic cuisine in a modern ambience. Located in the Mezzanine of the Conrad
Hotel Sheikh Zayed Road, this exciting new concept is opening its doors in October 2015 and is
sure to tantalise all palates with its delectable offerings.
Vesna, meaning ‘Spring’ in Russian, brings a fresh perspective to the UAE fine dining scene, with
an impressive décor and ambience to match. Guests new to Slavic cuisine are encouraged to
enjoy Vesna’s signature tasting menus to truly experience the best of the east. Vesna combines
both a restaurant that caters up to 105 guests at any one time with a lounge bar that seats up
to 50. As things get hot in the kitchen, the lounge stays chilled, mixing up signature cocktails
and pouring fine wines and spirits to enjoy with family and friends.
The Vesna menu is an inspired creation by Award Winning International Chef Angelova Irina,
renowned entrepreneur and restaurateur, bringing unique elements to Eastern European
Cuisine. Indulge in classic favourites with a fresh twist like the Ukrainian borsch with a dash of
Indian spices, chicken Kiev in Japanese bread crumbs and home-made noodles on Italian flour
with fresh porcini mushrooms. Prize Winning Head Chef Maksim Tvorogov cooks up a storm
every day in the Vesna kitchen. A member of the St. Petersburg club of chefs and regular
participant of the body gear on Channel “Tasty Tips” and “Lunchtime”, Maksim is a celebrity
chef who whilst new to Dubai is no stranger to the limelight. Bringing celebrity status and a
mastery of the culinary arts, guests should expect only the best for every course during their
meal.
Vesna livens up the evening from Wednesday through to Saturday, featuring a variety of live
music styles ranging from soul to jazz all performed by the exquisite in-house Vesna
performers. The weekends become an exciting experience designed to dance the night away,
with live DJ sets providing a musical fusion of east meets west from 12:30 till late to end the
night in style.
