Tell us a little bit about yourself
I am a shy person who is fascinated by colors. I am a stay at home mum and love to do paintings. People call me Yukti.

What is your favorite style and do you incorporate it with your artwork?
My favorite style is working with many colors or showing the brighter side of life. I show happiness and positivity in my paintings.  Avoid stress and distress in my work.  Happy couple, dancing people,  colorful nature or houses is what I love to paint. I avoid showing loneliness and sorrow. I incorporate liveliness in my paintings by showing the bright colors and some times if I use monochromatic palette then by showing figures involved in positive actions.

How did your artistic journey begin?
I was having artistic instinct from my childhood but could come out properly as I was busy in my studies and then family life.  After coming to Abu Dhabi I was slightly lonely as I was out of my hometown,  so I got time to develop and present my artistic skills. Whenever I get time I do paintings and try to learn many new forms and present my skills.

Do you have any advice you could give any budding artists out there?
Paint,  Paint,  Paint…….  Don’t hope for results,  only work and follow your instincts,  one day success would follow you.

If you could have any artist from any time line draw you, would would you choose and why?
I like all the artist’s work but mostly I like to follow ancient and tribal art drawn on walls and other artifacts.  I don’t the exact artists of those tribal ancient days,  but ancient form of art appeals me,  Because in those art I see unity, peace, love and free from stress.  Many colors and different forms coexists with harmony.
